Meet our Founder
After more than thirty years working as a professional nanny and Family PA for high profile families, Vic founded The Bear Club- an agency born from experience, passion, and a genuine understanding of what makes family placements successful.
The agency's name was inspired by one of Vic's charges, who affectionally called her "Bear" and refused to call her anything else. The nickname stayed with her and perfectly reflects the warmth, loyalty and sense of security that underpin everything The Bear Club stands for.
Throughout her career, Vic has supported families through some of the most important stages of childhood and into adulthood. Known for her calm presence, discretion, and thoughtful approach, she brings a deep understanding of both children's and parents needs.
Over the years, she has built a reputation not only for nurturing the children in her care but also for supporting and strengthening the families around them.
"Having remained in one role for over twenty years, I know first-hand the value of finding the right fit-not just for a family, but for a nanny too. My experience has given me unique insight into the challenges that both families and nannies can face during the recruitment process. Too often, unsuitable introductions are made that fail to meet the needs of either party.
That is why i founded The Bear Club. My vision was to create an agency that truly cares about making meaningful, lasting matches between nannies and families. I take a personalised approach, taking the time to understand the needs, values, and expectations of every family and candidate, ensuring each placement is built for long-term success."
